Women with Scars: Strength in the Storm
Presented by The Betty Center & Autumn Ka’ree Photography in support of The Young Foundation
About the Exhibit
Women With Scars is a powerful photo gallery celebrating local women whose scars - both visible and invisible - have shaped them into strong, resilient, and inspiring individuals.
Photographer and artist Autumn Ka’ree has documented each woman’s brave legacy and woven them into a powerful gallery showcasing the pieces of each woman that may be marked by adversity but never (ever) broken.
This exhibit honors women who have faced heartbreak, illness, disability, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, and self-harm. Though life has left its mark, these women have chosen courage, integrity, and hope, bringing light to others simply by being their most authentic selves.
This project is presented in support of The Young Foundation, created to honor the life and legacy of Cpl. Myron Young. Together with his wife, he built Level Up Lifestyle, rooted in the belief that true strength comes when physical health and mental health walk side by side.

We invite you to donate:
As part of this project, donations are being accepted to support our friends at The Young Foundation, a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting our first responders facing mental health challenges.
Your contribution will strengthen their efforts to improve mental health awareness, reduce stigma and decrease suicide in the first responder community.
