Life can be complicated, and you may need a little extra help navigating its confusing twists and turns. Whether you’re seeking to understand yourself more fully, cultivate deeper relationships with others, or strengthen your internal resources to effectively navigate life’s challenges, Betty Center clinicians will walk alongside you on your journey.
Selecting a therapist is a personal, thoughtful decision – and we believe the most effective therapeutic technique available is the trusting relationship you cultivate with your therapist. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes the foundation for meaningful exploration, a secure base from which to dive deeper into yourself – your fears, your questions, and your deepest longings - and ultimately, growth and healing.

FAQs
-
At this time, Betty Center does not participate in insurance networks. We are a private-pay practice.
This allows us to provide care that is fully tailored to you—without limitations on session length, frequency, or treatment approach often required by insurance companies. It also protects your privacy, as we are not required to share your personal health information or diagnosis with a third party.
-
Yes—many of our clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Upon request, we can provide a monthly “superbill” (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company.
We recommend calling your provider and asking:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible?
• What percentage of sessions will be reimbursed?
-
We believe in clear, upfront pricing so you can make informed decisions about your care.
• Initial Intake Session: $205
• Individual Therapy Sessions: $185
• Couples & Family Sessions: $195
Payment is due at the time of service to keep things simple and transparent.
We will always review fees with you before beginning services—no surprises, no hidden costs.
-
Choosing not to accept insurance allows us to prioritize quality of care over quantity of sessions or diagnostic requirements.
Insurance companies often require:
• A mental health diagnosis
• Ongoing treatment justification
• Limits on the type or length of care
At Betty Center, we believe your care should be guided by your needs—not external restrictions.
